Hello swim families, 

I hope that everyone is doing well! I'm so proud of the way that we've started our season so far and I hope that each of you are proud of the great progress your swimmers have made so far. 

This week we will have an opportunity to really show our stuff against the other local teams for the North Hall Fall meet at Frances Meadows (1545 Community Way) on Saturday. Please be sure that you are going in for each of these meets and letting me know if you are or are not attending. You don't have to pick the events, but I do need to know before the deadline if you will be there or not. Part of your team dues covers entries to these meets so we want you to attend if you have the opportunity, however, we do have to let the hosts know in a timely manner who is attending so that they can seed the information. 

We will have one change to this week's practice schedule due to the teacher workday. 

We WILL have practice on Tuesday, however, there will be no bus transport to the practice. Students that would like to attend should have a ride both to and from the practice at the YMCA. Students should be at the facility ready to practice NO LATER than 5:55 am. We will get in the water promptly at 6 am. Students will be out of the water and can come home with their ride at 7:00 AM. I realize that this can be difficult for many of our parents, so if your swimmer is unable to attend I understand. If you are looking for carpool options so that your child can attend, the GroupMe chat is a great resource to reach out for that. 

Other than this change, we will have practice as normal this week. 

Speaking of practice - we WILL have some optional practices during the Thanksgiving break week. These will be during the day (I will be confirming this later, but likely 10-11 AM) at Frances Meadows. Be looking for more information about these practices soon. 

Also, we will be ADDING an additional MIDDLE SCHOOL meet on November 19th for those that would like to attend. Be looking for this in the "upcoming events" section of our team page soon. I realize that many may already have plans this weekend, so that's okay, but if you are in town and want to attend it will be a fun meet for our middle schoolers hosted in Gainesville at Frances Meadows.
