BLUFF Team Practice Information
BLUFF TEAM: This group is designed for swimmers to develop their stroke and technique skills. Swimmers will be working on conditioning and endurance to improve their race times. The fundamentals of turns and dives will be taught, and racing techniques will be introduced. Swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards (down and back) using freestyle and backstroke.
Average Practice Yardage: 1800 - 2500 yards (70-100 laps)
In water practice will start on Tuesday, October 7th

**Bus transportation will be provided for MORNING practices to/from the YMCA. The bus will be leaving at 5:30 AM on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from the CBHS Student Parking lot.
BEARS Team Practice Schedule
BEARS TEAM: This group is designed for swimmers with the desire, skills, and conditioning to practice at a higher level. This group will focus on drills to improve technique and speed. We will incorporate longer distances, faster intervals, and pacing to improve endurance and conditioning. Swimmers need to be able to legally perform all four strokes and complete ten (10) 50s and five (5) 100s on a fast interval. Swimmers in this group will typically have multiple years of competition swim previously with a summer league, club, or high school team
Average Practice Yardage: 2500 - 3500 yards (100 - 150 laps)
In water practice will start on Tuesday, October 7th
