Hello swim families!

We hope everyone had a restful and joyous Thanksgiving holiday with your families. Thank you to those who came out for our optional practices last week. There was a lot of hard work shown, and I’m proud of each of your perseverance! We are looking forward to getting back to our routine this week and seeing all of our sweet swimmer's faces!

Our regular practice schedule will resume this week, kicking off with the middle school back at the YMCA tomorrow evening from 5 - 6:30 pm and our high school team at Frances Meadows from 7:30 - 8:45 pm. Tuesday, the bus will be ready to leave again at 5:35 AM, like normal. It may be a little rainy, so plan accordingly! (Only 6 more early morning wake-ups before Christmas break!)

Some important dates -

• DECEMBER 3rd: JINGLE JAM (MS& HS)

Jingle Jam Sign-ups are live now. You have until 9 pm tomorrow evening to get those in. Please let us know if you are attending or not. It makes it very difficult to plan for relays, etc. if we aren’t sure who is coming by the deadlines. This is a late deadline, so I very likely will NOT be able to get your swimmer in the meet if I don’t have their sign-up by tomorrow evening.

This meet is at the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center in Clarkesville, GA, and is for middle school and high school swimmers. We’d love to bring a big team!

• DECEMBER 10th: LAKESIDE INVITATIONAL (HS ONLY)

The sign-ups for the Lakeside Invitational on December 10th are also live. This is a high school only and an evening meet at Chamblee High School.

• DECEMBER 10TH: CANDY CANE INVITATIONAL (MS ONLY)

Middle school will stay closer to home on December 10th for the Candy Cane Invitational at Frances Meadows. More information is will be forthcoming on that soon.

• DECEMBER 14TH: TEAM PICTURES (HS ONLY)

The high school team will take team pictures after school in the gym. Please wear your warm-ups for pictures. Middle school pictures will take place at a later date.

• DECEMBER 14TH: TEAM CHRISTMAS PARTY (MS & HS)

Twila Masaschi has graciously agreed to host and organize our team's Christmas party. More information will be forthcoming about this date soon. In lieu of presents, we will be collecting canned goods to donate to the South Hall Food Bank, so be sure to bring those as well. Look for an email from Twila for all the details this week!
