Weekly Swim Update - 12/11/22
Hello swim families!
It’s hard to believe that we’ve wrapped up over half of the season already and are getting ready to head into the Christmas season! This past weekend, we had a great showing with a ton of personal bests and one additional state qualification by Pace Nelson in the 500 Free Relay. Way to go teams!
This week we will have a bit of a change of pace as we come into the holidays. Our practice schedule will be changed as we plan to celebrate together on Wednesday.
This week:
- Practices will be the same on Monday (12/12) and Tuesday (12/13). No changes in time or location.
- Wednesday (12/14) HIGH SCHOOL team pictures. Please be at the gym with warmups on and ready to have pictures made NO LATER than 5:30 PM. (We won’t wait for you for the pictures.)You will have the opportunity for individual pictures after the team pictures if you want to get them.
- THEN we will have our Christmas Party from 7 -8:30 PM. This is for middle and high school students. Please be sure to RSVP using the Team Website/App so that we can appropriately plan our food.
You can see the RSVP on the main homepage under Upcoming Events on the top right.
- There will be NO PRACTICE on THURSDAY morning! Enjoy a morning of sleeping in and a restful weekend off to spend time with your family and friends!
We will have practices over the holidays. These will once again be at Frances Meadows beginning on Monday, December 19th. We will send out information about times as soon as we can confirm with the aquatics director.
Practices will likely be held on Monday, December 19 - Wednesday, Dec. 22nd, and then resume Wednesday, December 28 - Friday, December 30th.
Unbelievably we only have THREE meets left of this season (one of which is our Hall County Championships on January 21st!). I can’t wait to see how our hard work pays off as we close out our year!
See ya at the pool!
