Hello Varsity Swim Parents!

Your swimmer is currently registered to swim in tomorrow's Lakeside Invitational at Chamblee High School. This will be a varsity-only meet and will take place in the afternoon/evening.

We will be taking a team bus to the event and all swimmers should be at Cherokee Bluff High School ready to leave no later than 1:50 PM. Unless you have an issue that you have already discussed with me, I expect swimmers to ride the bus to the meet.

As of now, the meeting organizers have moved the beginning time up to 4 PM with the timeline having us finish close to 8 PM. I have included with this email the projected timeline as well as the heat sheet. To my knowledge, they will NOT be selling heat sheets at the meet tomorrow, so if you would like a copy, you should print and bring your own.

We still need three more volunteers for the meet on Saturday. We must provide these volunteers so that the meet can run efficiently (and we can continue to be invited to meets without having additional charges incurred for the team). The host team is asking for volunteers for only half the meet and these deck positions offer you a prime position to be able to view your swimmer during the meet. Please see the sign-up sheet below to see if there is somewhere you can fit in. Don't worry if you don't know how to do it - all the jobs are easy and we can show you what to do!

If your swimmer is riding the bus back to the school, we will plan on stopping for a late dinner on the way home from the meet, so please make sure that they have money to eat!
