Hello swim families! 

It's time for the LAST MEET of the season, and I can't believe that we are already here! Hall County Championships are such an exciting meet and so much fun, so we are looking forward to everyone showing up and showing out! 

Some important information: 

1. There will be a bus to transport the students to/from the meet. The bus will leave for the meet at 8:20 AM from the CB Cafeteria parking lot. Please have your swimmer on the bus no later than 8:15 AM so that everyone has a chance to get settled and for me to take the role. Please be sure that they are dressed warmly. It's going to be VERY cold tomorrow!!! 

2. This is going to be a loooooooooong meet. I've attached the timeline to this email for you to review, but keep in mind that this is a guide only and not set times. It doesn't account for awards breaks, etc., so take it as a general range only. You should be able to see the events your swimmer is in by checking Swimtopia. We would really like for all swimmers to stay for the entire meet. I know that it is a long day, and if you would like to go after your swimmer is finished, we definitely understand! However, there is something important about the atmosphere of being able to cheer on those swimmers at the end of the meet. Many times, these are the difference makers in winning/losing a championship trophy, so we want them there cheering on their teammates!! They can ride the bus back to the school at the end of the meet, and I can even run a route on the bus and take them home if I need to! 

3. The meet is going to be PACKED! I highly suggest arriving early and bringing a seatback or folding chair if you're planning to spend the day there. Also snacks, etc. in a soft sided cooler are a good plan.

There is a streaming option as well for out of town family or those that just aren't ready to deal with the craziness of the meet. I've attached the directions and link here.

4. Heat sheets will be $5 to purchase if you would like one. There will also be a t-shirt and sweatshirt vendor to make custom shirts at the end of the meet. This is always a cool souvenir for the kids. These usually range from about $30-$60 dollars.
