Hello CB Swim Families!

It’s Friday, so that means it's time for another meet update! This week, we will be back at our “home” pool, Frances Meadows, for the West Hall Gobble Wobble! Yay for not quite such an early morning as last week!

Here’s the info:

Bus:

The bus will leave from CBHS Cafeteria at 8:30 a.m. Please be sure that your swimmer is there by 8:30 so we can take attendance and get on the road. We will plan for a 9 a.m. arrival, and warm-ups will begin at 9:30 a.m.

If your swimmer is a member of the Lanier Aquatics team and plans to warm up with them, that’s fine. Please let me know via email or text!

Food and things:

Ensure your swimmer has suits, goggles, and team cap. If they need a new cap, please let us know. We do have a few extras.

I have two boys' suits that were left at the Y. One is a competition suit, and the other is a practice suit. Let me know if your swimmer and a pair of goggles are missing these!

We will have a snack table for the kids this week. We still need a few items. See the GroupMe for the signup genius, and thank you for helping with this! It is helpful as coaches to know that the kids can access healthy snacks!

We also will need TWO timers! This is a crucial role; we can’t move forward without timers. It’s a super easy job. If you can push a button, you are qualified!

Upcoming Events:

We have a very busy few weeks coming up, and I’ll be sending out a bunch of emails with RSVPs that are really important as we plan. Please be sure to complete each of these! I’ll also post the links on GroupMe. Here’s a quick overview of our upcoming dates.
