Hello CB Swim Families!

I hope everyone had an extraordinary Thanksgiving Break filled with family and fun! We had a great time for our Friendsgiving and thank you to everyone who could come and celebrate and donated to our feast!

We’ll return to the grind this week to try to finish 2024 out strong before our final three meets in January, including the Hall County Championships on Saturday, January 18th. This is our final meet, and it is MANDATORY to attend - so be sure to mark your calendars for this important date now!

Here’s this week’s practice schedule and upcoming important dates for the rest of the season:

Some important notes about this week:

1. The middle school team will compete at the Chestatee Invitational this weekend at Frances Meadows. There will be NO bus transportation to the meet, so parents will be responsible for transporting students to and from the meet. This will be the final MS meet for 2024!
2. The HS Service and Fun Day is scheduled for THIS Saturday, December 7th. We will tentatively plan to leave on the bus at around 6:30 AM to get to our service destination—The Atlanta Autism Speaks Walk—around 7:30 AM at Truist Park. Students will be provided with a light breakfast (pastries and fruit) and lunch. They will be responsible for purchasing their dinner in the park that evening. 3. The MS Fun Day will be on Monday, December 9th. Students will meet in Dr. Goodwin’s room to hang out. Then, we will head to Stars and Strikes for fun bowling and arcade time. Students will return to the middle school via bus at 6:30 PM.

We are looking forward to being back together soon! Bundle up, as it’s gonna be a cold few days!
