Hi everyone and Happy New Year! 

January 2025 is here and it is time to wrap up this amazing season with some strong swims, state qualifications, and championship medals (and trophies?)!! I know it's been a long season in some ways, however, it will be over before we know it and time to reflect and get ready for the next season. 

Our next meet is this Saturday, January 4th, and we are hosting. Thank you so much to those that have already volunteered to help from timing to hospitality and everything in between! We are still short in many areas ahead of this weekend's meet, so please login to SwimTopia and take a look at the available jobs. We in particular need timers and a few more things for our hospitality room! 

Just as an FYI - I don't want to have to assign positions and would rather that each person has a choice about how they help out, but we HAVE to have workers to host a meet, so please take a look at see if there is somewhere you can fit in! The income that we generate allows us to keep our dues lower than those teams around us and helps to pay for the officials, rental for lanes and practices and meets, and timing equipment rental. (If you're interested to see the breakdown of dues, etc., reach out and we're happy to show you!)  

There is no bus for this weekend since we are not at school right now. Please have your swimmer at the meet no later than 9 AM. If you need help getting your swimmer there, please let me know and I can help make arrangements to do so. We will have a snack table for our swimmers, but please be sure that they bring a refillable water bottle as well. Our timer meeting will be at 9:45 AM, so if you are helping with this role, we will need you at the pool as well by 9:30 AM. The meet will begin promptly at 10:20 AM and is scheduled to wrap up no later than 3 PM. 

By the way, we as coaches have gotten so many compliments over the break and astonished people regarding how many swimmers we have that have been at practices over their break. Thank you for the commitment to this team and your swimmers. We have seen some amazing breakthroughs and I know this is going to be our best meet yet! I definitely don't take it for granted that I have the BEST parents in all of the area swim teams.
