Each year we ask our students to vote on what we consider one of our most special awards... our BEAR award. 

Please have your SWIMMER complete the following survey by SUNDAY, February 23rd at 9 PM. The guidelines for the award are below.

As swimmers, each of you brings a unique perspective to our team. This award is a special honor because it is chosen by the team and recognizes the swimmer who BEST embodies the values and expectations of a BEAR swimmer.

Please take the time to carefully consider the traits listed below and select the swimmers who truly exemplify these ideals.

You will vote for:

• ONE high school boy and ONE high school girl
• ONE middle school boy and ONE middle school girl

Voting guidelines:

• You may only vote once and select one person per category.
• Only students may cast votes.
• If you are unsure, there is an option to abstain from voting in any category.

The ideal BEAR swimmer demonstrates, both in and out of the water:

• Inner strength
• Confidence
• Leadership (through words and actions)
• Willingness to help others
• Kindness
• Inspires respect
• Fearlessness
• A sense of family

A BEAR swimmer isn’t always the fastest or most decorated, but they are deeply committed to the team. They may not always win races, but they always exemplify the heart of a CHAMPION.
