Weekly Swim Update - 9.7.25
Hello swim families!
We’re off to a strong start on our preseason workouts, and I’m proud of the work the swimmers are already putting in! Thank you so much to all of you who hustled to get all that paperwork done! If you still need help uploading documents, let me know, and I’m happy to help in any way I can!
We do have a few “housekeeping” items for the week to take care of:
A. Swim Suit Sizing and Style
So, the registration process asks for the sizing, but not the style of suit that your swimmer would like to have. To make sure that I am ordering the correct size and style, please complete the following order form NO LATER THAN Thursday, September 11th. The order will be placed on Friday, September 12th, so I need to have all information in and organized by this time.
Please remember that these are CUSTOM suits, and I will only be ordering what you ask me to order, so PLEASE double-check sizing and style before ordering.

We continue to make significant progress on our fundraiser, but we want to keep the momentum going. Don’t forget to continue to reach out to those people on your list and ask them to donate. You should have received communication from our board about your swimmer’s progress. We’d love to have everyone on the team bring in at least $100. This money goes a long way towards helping us not only keep costs low, but also providing us with numerous fun opportunities and activities.
C. Dues and Deposits
Any remaining deposits should be paid by the end of this week. If you are sending a check, please email Coach Goodwin at [email protected] to notify me that it has arrived, specifying whether it is at the high school or the middle school. If you are unable to make a deposit at this time, please reach out to me as well, and we’ll work on it together!
D. Dryland Practices
Dryland practices will continue this week. We will practice together on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 3:30 - 5:00 PM. Please have your child bring appropriate clothing and a water bottle. On Monday of this week, we will be doing yoga to work on both strength and flexibility. Your child is welcome to bring a large towel or yoga mat if they’d like for Monday’s practice, but it is NOT necessary!
Thank you so MUCH to our AMAZING concessions volunteers for the last two weeks! I know that it’s not easy work, but I’m so grateful to each of you who is willing to put in the time to make it great. Big thanks to Heather Failyer and Amanda Mink for organizing and coordinating our volunteers and service! We’ve got a couple of weeks off, but keep looking for those opportunities on GroupMe.
I have the best team and parents around, and I’m so grateful to be a part of this program!
GO BEARS!
Coach Goodwin
